It probably got deleted because it's been discussed constantly in other threads since the acquisition and there's not much left to say other than speculation one way or another.

I truly hate when companies buy other companies ESPECIALLY companies that offer amazing products and have great reputations because in the overwhelming majority of cases that legendary company's products lose their greatness and become much more average .
I cannot think of many (any) cases where the opposite happened. :/

It is extremely concerning as a lifelong Mesa and former Gibson fan.

Wild how these things work; I do not exactly stay up-to-date, I know, but this is the first I had heard of it.

How long until they offshore production to China and increase prices across the board?

It’s weird. I should be stoked because I pretty much have played Gibson’s into Mesa’s for a while now. But corporate American history tells me a story where it all just leaves a bad taste. Once they start squeezing out old school Mesa management and top tier employees, either through pro active choice or too much frustration on the employees part, it will probably be over. I guess as long as there is a tech who knows Mesa and can fix what I have, I’ll be alright. Let’s see if we have tubes before we worry about what tube amps may be made or not made and in what way…lol
