I have only heard 2 songs from Avatar, the one in the OP and Crying Fire, something about Crying Fire I really liked.. I can't say the same about the one Tech linked, I think the comments section has had the correct response for that song, but the other one is pretty cool. The song is better than the video.

Kinda surprised at all the negative comments. I’ve seen Avatar 4 or 5 times and they always put on a good to great show. While mostly heavy, their influences are all over the place and it shows in their songs.

When I first discovered them, the clown makeup turned me off a bit, but their shows and songs got me past it. They are always tight with great energy live. I’m actually surprised they aren’t bigger than they are.

Far from trying to convince anyone to like what I like….music either grabs you or it doesn’t and what grabs me may not interest you. All cool.
