Billy seems to have a good hold on things over there. I'm actually quite impressed with the way he's administering the site - he appears to be handling issues in a fair and reasonable manner. Kudos to him.

Looks like the admin over at GAB finally closed that thread after cleaning up a bunch of posts. Say what you want about the members, but this seemed to be well said about the member's posts and actions.

Again, this thread has remained open as a PSA about the business dealings of Cameron LLC, which I think it's important. People are losing real money on this and the very least I can do is provide them a space to talk about it without having to worry about doing so at the company's owner own forum and getting locked/deleted.

BUT!! Over the last few days this thread has become such a damn burden on me with multiple posts being reported, the thread keeps being derailed due to personal bickering, blah blah... that I am really tired of it.

I have a 100 PM limit in my inbox and had to clear it out this morning so I could receive tracking information from an amp I just bought, because my inbox was maxed out with PMs about drama. That's just ridiculous. I am the forum admin, not anyone's mother to get involved in personal feuds.

Then in the afternoon I had to spend a considerable amount of time - while at work - cleaning this thread because people were using it to accuse the guy of dealing with hookers or whatever - which is against the forum rules, I will not tolerate gossip/rumors about people's personal life being posted here.


I also have to mention that I have a full-time job, family, band etc that need my attention and I can't sit here all day babysitting this bullshit.

So enough is enough and at this point, I am closing this thread.

If you want to open a new thread to discuss the Cameron LLC situation, be my guest. I think it's important that this kind of information is being discussed out in the open.

But if you are going to use it to attack people, fight, fuel your rage boner, wash your dirty laundry etc.. you will be banned immediately and with no further warning. Take this personal shit somewhere else please, post on facebook, on your blog, write a letter, make a recording of it, I don't give a fuck. But not here and not under my watch . If that will "kill the traffic", I am fine with it. Actually I could use some peace/quiet at the moment But the drama has to stop and it has to stop now.

Billy is good people. You have to keep in mind too that he setup GAB on his own dime just so HC people had a place to go to after they totally ruined it. Hosting for a forum with that much traffic is not cheap, but he never asked for donations (even after tons of people offered) or plastered the thing with ads.

And about the members, for the most part they are all cool and have a good sense of humor. There are a few that are total assholes, but that's going to happen when you've got over 1000 members.

I like both forums, I just hope that either gab or rt don't become overly moderated and ban happy. And grown men reporting others for "bullying" or "foul language" is pretty fuckin lame.
