I had no idea Aaron Turner joined, that's amazing. I'll definitely be checking this out later. One of my all-time favourite bands, I thought they were done after all the Scott stuff....

My drummer's really into them I think. Gonna give this album a spin tomorrow on the way to band practice and the second half on the way home.

Can’t say that did much for me. They may still be screaming but it just didn’t have any fire to it for me. Sonically they are still rolling off a lot of the edge they used to have. I fell away from them after Times of Grace. They mellowed out a lot and started to meander a lot for a while.

I'm through it a few times now, and I love it. I liked all their 90s and 00s stuff, and feel like this is a return to that era. Aaron Turner is the right fit for them.

Maybe now that they have the guitarist from Isis in the band they'll really blow up.

AT definitely brought some long overdue gnarliness to the band. Too much old man moaning to semi-clean guitars on the last few albums for me haha.

So far so good. It's certainly better than those last couple tunes by Corrosion Of Conformity and Down... Not that they really are comparable. So who quit the band?

Scott Kelly beat his wife and kids and the band distanced themselves from him. All signs said they broke up until this album dropped with no warning.
