The stupidest shit youve heard a guitar store guy say......

I was just in Guitar Center and a young kid walked up to an EVH Frankenstrat and told his little brother, "This looks like something Green Day would play."

Everytime I find myself in a Guitar Center, I go to the red free pick bowl and grab a massive handful and pocket them. I then scan to see if anyone would like to comment on it. Nobody does. I make my way to the "bass cave" and pick up the first Ibanez 5 string and plug into the first 500 watt plus head I see. I then EQ the fuck out of it and do Fieldy slap bass for 3-4 minutes. Then, I decide to leave.

Tuff.

Those are like the lowest quality pics that leave red powder on your wound strings :ROFLMAO:

Looking back at the moment, it wasn't one of the guitar store employees... it was me...

FIrst time getting to see and play a Dual Rec in person, one of the guys at GC was cool and walked me through the whole amp and how it worked, and he was a pretty good player to boot. He actually knew the amps and how to dial it in. I on the other hand did not... I just remember standing there behind him as he's playing and showing me all the tones from it, and I'm just asking asking for more gain. I remember looking at the amp and he had the gain dimed...maxxed... just to passify me, and I siad "Does it get any heavier?" He didn't really say much, but I coud tell he was short circuting on the inside. Good times! :ROFLMAO:

Oh, and again, me... Playing through this massive rack they had set up there and I remember playing through this Digitech preamp (dont recall with one) but it had this preset called "Dimebag", and I said, " wow, this is the best thing I've ever heard!" Oh to be young again.

"They don't make Crybaby pedals anymore, you think this is the 60's?".
