Not to derail the thread but I could really care less about this Chrispy guy but that Crate Blue Voodoo head is not a bad sounding amp at all if dialed in right. I know someone famous was recording with one in the 90's but I cant remember his name right now...

Didn't Marty Friedman use them for awhile?

It amazes me the sounds my friend gets from it. He was a JCM 800 player for a lot of years before this amp. He likes a lot of my amps .... but they do not work for him as well as the Create does.

HCAF won't let me log on. It's a shame because I was hoping to post this on the thread.

I just talked to my friend who used to have one, he told me the first ones that were made in the early 90's were awesome, then later in the mid 90's they started using cheaper components so the quality went down along with the sound. Still even the later ones were not a "bad" head according to my friend but the early ones were right up there with the 5150s sound wise.

That is interesting .... I am surprised we do not hear about them or people modifying them.

He is one of those people that have their gear in hawk half the time. He is actually pretty friends with that blond Jerry guy we talk about sometimes. I have been in a few bands with him over the years. Easy the best song writer I have ever known. We can talk about this on Ann ..... lets get back to the DJC.

in the video of his bucket head cover, He said his crate was 1600 watts.  and around 5:55 his amp craps out... BUt it also looks like he's about to cry every second of that video.

Not familiar with the song, but I'm pretty confident it doesn't go quite like that :D

On a side note, men with tits should avoid wife beaters....just a psa

I am sure all his Gramma and Grandpa's ......Aunts ...Uncles........

Tell him he is the GREATEST since Jimmy Hendrix!

Should be Krispy Kreme. The white wife beater emphasizes he cleavage..

That was like watching a dog get hit by a car..... sad, tragic, wish I had not seen it.

That kid must be special. Like 'short bus' special.

I went to school with a kid like him. Had no feel, couldn't even play fast, but he tried to and spent most of his time backpicking. But he was rich, and just as cocky too.

I can't believe the HCAF thread is up to like 64 pages now with no signs of slowing down, that is some of the funniest shit I've ever seen on the net!

This guy is either the biggest, most epic troll in the history of the internet, or he's certifiably insane, either way, his sheer comedic value is off the scale!
90 pages now...

Would you want this guy to be in your band?

Jeez, he's not even remotely playing that song properly. I've never heard it, but the backing iPod tracking is completely different.

What a turd.

I had one of the first ones, with the blue tolex. If I could go back in time, I would have bought a 5150 instead. Hated that amp.
