I was going to clone the Fisher Price Baby Monitor ..... couldn't get enough people on board ...

As far as the pedals ... they are just like the Marshall ones that were released around the same time ... op amp based distortion pedals is all they really are ...

I never thought we'd see the day where people want Peavey pedals based on their old shitty amps. LOL

Same thing with the MXR Rockman pedal. Like who would use that tone?

I think Peavey is having a bit of a resurgence as folks are giving some of those old amps another look. Not sure how much of a market there is for the peavey preamp pedals.

But I know I have taken a fresh look at peavey amps and been impressed. My daughter has a teal stripe bandit and that's a pretty cool amps, as is the triumph 60 I just fixed. I have learned to accept the amp for what it is. Like the Marshall 8100 Valvestate doesn't feel like a tube amp, but I love the thing it does.

Back in the day, I had a Peavey Roadmaster head and a Peavey Stereo Chorus 2x12 combo. Loved them both - not sure if I’d feel the same today. Plus, the Roadmaster had like 24 tubes . Would hate to pay the bill to re-tube one of those…

As a FB friend of James Brown I can sincerely say that the Teal Stripe Bandit/Supreme 160/Renown 1-12 and 2-12/ Classic Chorus 212 all share the same preamp.
Ohhhh.. almost forgot. The VERY rare and awesome Revolution head.

Thats how I am about the Rockmaster pedal. If it sounds exactly like the rack preamp I'm going to order one.
It'll give me the sound I dig without lugging around a full rack.

The active eq is the worst thing about those amps. Keep the knobs at 12 oclock and they sound great, especially with a speaker upgrade.

The active EQ is the greatest thing ever....IF you don't go to extremes with it.
Bottom all the way up, the Body at about 10 o'clock, and the edge set at about 1 o'clock.. sounds like Heaven.

I will now unveil my plan. I am going to order a Peavey Bandit Supreme, but run it in a rack with a 32 band eq, and a ss power amp. I am going to recreate my old Supreme 160.

At least try it first without the 120 band EQ. Lol. The Peavey EQ is pretty extreme on its own.
Curious how you would incorporate effects. Unless you have a line level rack effects unit like a Intellifex or something.

I don't use fx really, I use ibanez delay pedals but I run em in front
