I'd say unless you have to have that Stephens cutaway and a true blue Nuno N4... build yourself a Warmoth/Musikraft, with your neck specs or Nuno neck specs and slap a Bill and Becky L500XL SD 59N or B in it and save yourself some money.

Id agree with this, shame cuz I like Nuno but those price points open a lot of doors if you want a US made guitar.

The cheapo version is reasonable given it has an ebony board and if there is quality control but why wouldn't I just get a Washburn? Won't they just keep releasing N4's without an N4 logo? Or did he take everyone from Washburn's shop.

I bought a Washburn N4 from GC about a year ago and kept it for about a week. It was a nice guitar, but for me personally it wasn't anywhere near the level of craftmanship and playability of Tom Anderson and Suhr so it went back.

These look interesting , but for close to 5 grand for a USA version as mentioned there are a bunch of other options out there, so these will need to be pretty damn good to compete.

Don't think making a Cherone joke didn't cross my mind.

That pic is bugging me now, because I realized I should have angled the vibrator the opposite way and have it serve as a whammy bar. I could change it, but it would be a pain in the ass (Cherone pun intended).

Never tried one, those look cool though. $5k for US made is putting in some tough competition. I’d try a lower priced one if I could get it with a 24.75” scale. I’ve just fallen in love with that scale length but still only like super strats so that really limits my options these days.

Fixed it. It's now has the ultimate wang bar (now I can sleep easy).


I do have to admit after doing this picture, one does question one's life choices when tracing out anal beads at 3:00 in the morning.
