Those Nuno guitars aren’t cheap..

Just got an email for preorder. The cheaper ones are made in China. The stable series isn’t bad for made in USA price point.

Kind of a cool look to them.

Limited range, expensive for the MIC models, but that's the norm now I guess.

The US models are what I would expect in pricing for a custom shop style guitar.

Abasi did the same thing in a way - released a limited range of basically signature guitars.

Is there actually enough of a portion of the market base to sustain these? Time will tell.

I think the headstock inlay on the acoustic is hideous. The overall design looks like something my teenage buddies would think a "rocker's" acoustic would look like, so, kinda love/hate for me there.

The F-holes are not going to benefit the sound of it IMO. Probably has a bit of a jangly, thinner thing it adds to it if I were to guess.

At the price points, I guess this is actually standard in today's market for MIC guitars but damn I just can't see myself spending $1200 on one of those.

Nuno is a beast of a player, no doubt, and I hope his newest venture goes well.

I know this will come off as snobbish but I’ll always think of bolt ons as a lesser guitar. Sure it offers a unique tonal signature as a byproduct but the bolt on design was only ever conceived to facilitate speed and ease of production. So to see ultra high dollar bolt ons is ridiculous

It is getting a little out of hand. I'd love to see the actual cost of goods and labor for the high-end guitars these days.
Ive built numerous guitars with top of the heap parts, woods and finishing etc. COG 1k. If I charged 5k and 4k was for my time and name it would be flat out greed!

I try to factor in the R&D for something into the cost, but the Super Strat market is providing nothing new. it is 40+ year old styling and while I love them, I just cant see the cost being justified. The Nuno Brand guitars look like new finish option guitars that are based on his Washburn's which again is nothing new. I absolutely love the looks of these guitars but the pricing seems out of hand to me. Nuno is a monster player though so I hope it works out for him
