If Ukraine were not such a corrupt country to begin with they could have been bolstering their defensive capabilities for just such a time, it’s not like they had no idea of putins plans, they knew of his plans for at least 3 years due to Putin openly speaking of restoring russia to its former boarders in the future. They chose to do absolutely nothing.
They helped democrats foster the russia collusion hoax and sided with them in the last election.
We have no responsibility to aid a country who has contributed to corruption our own country.

Do agree well the Europeans have been rather lazy to put it mildly in terms of military and defense...... and they have been lazy for a long time in that regard.



But yeah in either case the Ukrainians and Europeans are going it alone for the forseable future with the British leading the way in place of and absent of American involvement and leadership.
 
What Trump needs to do now is announce he’s negotiating a deal to sell arms to Russia.

Obviously it's not ideal but as others have said it's time Europe stops depending on America so much in either case and this is a step in that direction.

It's the next best option now that America is out and it's pretty much what the British, French and even Germans will start to realize.
 
Zelinskiy is a psychopathic little shiz, sacrificing Ukrainians to make himself & his cronies rich.

Also the loss here is when it comes down to it and decisions have to be made in the future in the region America will have less and less say. In a sense it's more for the US interest to be involved than not and there is more to gain than to lose.

From that perspective it just leaves the country in a bad position in the future but at the same time the US can't be doing all the heavy lifting anymore and the Europeans have been on a free ride since 1945 with no real motivation to defend itself until now and being forced to.


I mean it's not pretty but free actions, from free individuals and free people making decisions lead to balance IMO and letting things naturally play out is not so bad from that perspective. It's not the most ideal scenario but it's the best scenario given the circumstances and options.

I mean when it came to my Baseball projections better than AI so I will take that as a compliment.


Also when it comes to this for example 2 years ago I pretty much laid down and said the problems with these WAR Games relative to what AI had come up with. Also some pretty interesting commentary that brought in some weird folk on the part of China and the US talking about this too to reply to what I had to say.


I pretty much said that a South East Asian NATO needed to be made and that's pretty much what happened a month later, also broke down the flaw in the War Games in how even though the US comes out on top the loss in soldiers and assets such as carriers, ships and planes wasn't acceptable and the main weakness in Taiwan and the US posture was a defensive position vs an offensive one.



And yeah much like in that case as in here we see similar with a NATO within a NATO so to speak with the British and Europeans standing with Ukraine as I said would happen.
