Don't forget these factors that often get left out of the equation:

Long-Term Structural Factors (Why Diesel Costs More Normally)

The historical relationship between the two fuels flipped around September 2004, when diesel moved to a permanent premium over gasoline due to baseline economic changes:

• Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) Mandates: Environmental regulations require refineries to drastically reduce the sulfur content in highway diesel to 15 parts per million. The extensive hydrotreating and sulfur-removal processing requires highly specialized, energy-intensive equipment, driving up permanent production costs.

• Higher Federal Taxes: In the United States, the federal excise tax on on-highway diesel is 24.4 cents per gallon, which is 6 cents higher than the 18.4 cents per gallon tax levied on regular gasoline.

• Crude Oil Yield Limits: A standard 42-gallon barrel of crude oil naturally yields far less diesel than gasoline. Refineries generally extract about 19 to 20 gallons of gasoline from a single barrel, but only 11 to 12 gallons of diesel.

• Insatiable Industrial Demand: Unlike gasoline, which is primarily tied to consumer passenger vehicles, diesel powers global commerce. It experiences constant, heavy demand from commercial shipping, farming equipment, trains, semi-trucks, and manufacturing

You think you are above skilled physical labor.
You might break a fingernail lmao.
Dude, I've had farm jobs, gardener's helper (read: grunt) jobs, slaughterhouse kill floor jobs....

I've busted my ass. All so I could pay my own way through school. Why? So I didn't have to spend the rest of my life busting my ass until I died from it.

Don't give me this "working man, man of the earth, blue jeans and a tee shirt he-man bullshit. You're someone else's "joe" and that's all you have ever been and ever will be.

How fast can you say "yes sir, right away sir"?

Sure thing. And back to the ladies room for you. :hys: 🤡

You are aware there are a lot of people that enjoy doing work like that, right? They're called men. Oh wait, I forgot who I'm asking. :hys::hys:
I enjoy doing that stuff - of my own volition. But having to do it 8 hours a day 5 days a week for the rest of my life till my joints gave out...lol...fuck no.

But, keep being a "man" and keep cleaning up shit for someone else. Shoulda stayed in school.
