While I'd be lying if I didn't say we'd like top dollar (who wouldn't?), the way we've gone about using ebay for the site instead of contacting other board owners and/or using means used more frequently to sell domains/forums means we'll most likely end up with somebody who's already well familiar with this place with the winning bid. Sure, we could ban Carl, clean up posts, etc. and go the other route, but quite frankly, Chris and I both want to see this site maintain its user base, maintain its MFG base, and grow. We're well aware that we will probably get less money out of the site this way, but we're not going to get rich off this site whether it sells for $500 or $25,000 so it is what it is.

The new owner will have the perogative of banning Carl unless he flies off the deep end again (he's getting closer, IMO) in which case I'll have to take care of the problem sooner.

This is basically a turn key operation...if the new owner/admin is OK with the old rules.
