What’s your most comfortable guitar to play?

Please tell me you have clips slaving that crate into the strategy 400. I bet that sounds all kinds of badass!

My number one most comfortable guitar to play is one I don’t play the most ironically. It’s my 76 wine red LPC. It’s more of a soloist guitar that sings and doesn’t have a lot of bite to it. Absolutely one of the more inspiring guitars I own.

My current number one is my 1988 Charvel 475XL. It’s just a nasty riff machine. I wish I knew what wood it was - I assume poplar. Lightweight and very resonant.

Charvel 475s are way up on my list also, and 650s for that matter (essentially Soloists).

I love the snap and bite of a bolt on neck. The 650s are neck through. These were way under the radar 20 years ago. Now that Jackson reissued the crackle finish the OG ones shot up in value and you can’t find them anymore. Mines just a parts guitar - original OFR and a pickup I made with just a single volume. The neck and middle are disconnected.

Love Korina, the tone has a hollow notch in the mids that these reasonate like no other tone wood. The Poplar/Alder sound sits in the same place but isn't as dominant. The custom all mahogany does exactly what you think and has a woody less pronounced tone but the Korina tone stands apart, completely complex, hollow and very vocal sound.

Tough question, depends on how I'm feeling that today. Overall, I think I'd have to go with my PRS CU24. Close runners up would be my Charvel Fusion short-scale or ESP Horizon. My Gibson ES-355 is really comfortable, too, even though it's a pretty big guitar.

EBMM Majesty.

...followed by my Kaizen.

...followed by my Ibanez PS10.

the other guitars I own are to have some variety (Ric, Fender, Gibson, Jackson, D'Angelico)

a few months ago, I went to GC to sell an older EBMM Majesty; had my son with me. When I opened the case at GC, my son said "wow, that's nice!" I asked him if he wanted it, he said no, but GC came up $200 less than my bottom price, so I didn't sell it, and gave it to my son. (FWIW, even if GC offered me a better price, I wasn't going to sell it anyway based on my kid's reaction).

Fast forward to today, a few days ago he said how much he liked the Majesty, and how it was much easier to play than his other guitar (2016 Fender American Professional Strat, black with maple board I bought him years ago when his favorite guitarist was Gilmour; his current favorite guitarist is Fripp).

KE2. The angle it hangs while standing is super comfortable for my wrist. Mine has a great stainless refret on it that just plays perfect. Being able to pin the body back with the strap over the fin is clutch.

My current NO 1 is my Mayones Duvell Elite 6. It just feels right for my style and playing. Some others that I had in the past and were really comfy to play -
Jackson Soloist USA (all of em)
Charvel San Dimas both USA and Mexico
Charvel Model 1
ESP Eclipse CTM I
Ibanez Prestige RGR662AHBF
What speakers in that cab? It looks rear mounted is that the D cab?

Probably my '61ri SG Std, or either of my Les Paul Special P90's. My Eastman T64/V is really comfy too for such a large guitar. It's super light with a comfy neck that's a hair thicker than a Gibson slim taper.

I’ve got a 7 string Duvell that beats the pants off every other 7 I’ve played & most of the 6 strings.

My ‘84 V. Once I put jumbos on it (soon after buying it 15 years ago or so) it became butter. My 2008 V is also, amazingly comfortable. That sucker came with tall frets from the factory. Back when Gibson knew what a V and an Explorer were going to be used for.
The H353 I just got is super comfortable but needs bigger frets which I’ll probably do soon.
