What’s your most comfortable guitar to play?

Technically my Strat, for lack of weight and ease of playing my PRS, but my 2011 ‘59 Reissue feels most like home to me.

I LOVE that seafoam green Modern!
I have to agree with this and have told fusio

The Red Strat will likely always be the biggest guitar surprise I’ve ever gotten. I just didn’t think it was going to play or sound anywhere close to how it does, I figured I’d pick this thing up 4-5x a year when I wanted to play some Gilmour shit but it immediately became the #1 and I barely ever play Gilmour shit with it.
Is the neck on that sunburst as beefy as it looks in the pic? Nice axes Drew!

Your damn skippy it is! That’s a 1” bastard from nut to 12th fret and and I LOVE it!

I got it with the intent of shaving it down and finding my own preferred neck shape/size, but I played it for about an hour when I got it and found that everything I had thought about fat necks was untrue. The way it fills my hand actually provides FAR more support than a thin neck and I can play faster on that thing than I can a 90’s Ibanez Wizard neck or those really thin PRS necks, especially if they have a V shape.

For every partscaster from here on forward, they’re getting fat necks like this. I can’t wait to have a Tele with one.

I can’t take credit for that, that was the first day I got it, but I’m sure there’s about half as much finish left on it by now as that’s my main couch guitar and I think because of that neck I really, really dig into that one when playing it. The red one is comfy and effortless, this one is entirely “You’re gonna work for it, bitch” Especially since the previous owner took too much off the fret ends and the high E slides right off it if I’m not dead on when fretting.

You can hear it acoustically at the same time the amp’d tone is coming out the speakers here, those pickups aren’t adding anything ‘helpful’ to the situation, they’re basically microphones under the strings and those notes aren’t sustaining unless you make them sustain with your fingers!

While I may not have started it, I'm definitely going to finish it, I've only had this thing for 3 years!

Awesome. If you play a lot it doesn't take long to get through the lacquer. I put quite a few miles on my ES333 before I sold it. I think I had it five years and it was in pretty good shape when I got it in '15. A refret later and it seemed like someone asked me how old the guitar was at every gig I took it to.

Von you've always been cool...

I've had the same experience with my Charvel, it's been through a ton of sessions and live gigs (years on the road like a champ) I have a few guitars but this one Charvel (I've had a few) just keeps up and is "Rock Solid" :ROFLMAO: I also love Bare Knuckle Holydiver calibrated set and my BE-100 (Dave modified of course)
I like to share a couple of my songs with you and RT-Members they're both in the Hard Rock style, the second song has a "Live solo" at the end decent.
