I agree. I live in super hot and humid Florida, and we don't really get a winter, just a summer and spring. I deeply miss all the seasons.

Wonderful! Palm trees are really exotic to me as well, and the farm picture is great!

We don't get snow, though. I really miss snow. However, I don't miss driving a car in it and trying to shovel it.

No, I guess FL isn`t most known for its snowy winters
The perfect would be to be able to live in a place like Florida in summer, and a real winter-wonderland in the winter
But I hate bugs and spiders and snakes, so I`d probably scream like a teenage girl all the time, and cry myself to sleep at night

lol, A dog does chase him around our neighborhood, and he has been arrested numerous times
He doesn't work for a company, He lives in a trailer on the side of the road, and just mooches off the old people in our neighborhood. And he has also has stolen our wall plants and our garden light system before we moved in...

I used to live in Northern Norway, I grew up in the valley you see in the picture:

Now I live 20 minutes outside of Oslo, so a fairly short ride to a bigger city. It`s still kinda rural here, but I like that. Esp. after I had kids

My back window .... the lake and many mallard ducks, lots of very thick tall trees.
Front window ..... the road, a deserted home and very large over grown lot with tall trees near the back, meth heads / dealers, prostitutes, homeless and children playing.

I do not look out the front window near as much as the back.

The back window sounds really nice, the front not so much. Children playing and meth heads at the same place and time isn`t cool

It has got a lot better in the last year ..... and it is at different times of day.(the kids are not playing with the meth heads) During the day it is pretty nice ..... in the evening I have seen a lot of ridicules nonsense. Just part of living by the airport.

I have run off many of them. I just tell them "I could care less what you are doing. Just go do it some place else."

Good that the kids have other friends.
I guess if the city`s big enough, you find folks like that in most places.
