What ever happened to the Bogner Solo 70 Twin Jet?

Solo70 was bad ass.

but it wasn't completed. there was stuff Reinhold still wanted to mess with.

It was a prototype.

I'm sure it is still over at the Bogner factory. I'll ask Reinhold about it this week for an update when I see him.

Just figured I'd exhume this thread to find out what Reinhold had to say about it.

What a jip this is. Almost as bad as refusing to ever make another Rev. 2.

I'm late to the party and just saw this video and found out about this amp. I assume it never made it past the prototype stage? Looked like a completed amp to me

Well anyway from the video it seems that this may be a KILLER Revision of the Uberschall.

IMO it sounded better than the TJ AND the Rev Blue in this video. However I also know that both of those amps can sound 300% better than the video portrays so who knows.

Would really like to try one of these Solo 70's

Yep. Still waiting on that reissue of the Rev 2 with external bias pot and points. This thing would be pretty cool too though.

Reinhold isn't making big amps anymore. He's more interested in low-wattage amps that cover a lot of redundant ground and pedals these days.

The 70 did sound really good in that video. Would be cool if it made it to production.

Honestly though, I liked the Naked even more. It was a little darker but had no harshness at all. Rich and juicy and no graininess.
