I likes me a goldtop as well. My 1971 modded Deluxe. Everything that is supposed to be wrong about a Les Paul, but sounds and plays SO right. As long as you don't mind a 10lb guitar.

This G0 is doing it for me lately, purchased on RT, loaded with WCR Godwood/Crossroads.

Still my #1(until my Yaron arrives)....nothing sounds like this guitar.

'08 Gibson Explorer, Faded Series model.... Whomever had it before me repainted the front White but left the sides and the back the natural Brown... then refinished it in a nitro finish... I got it last April and have put a lot of hours in on it since. It's got the wear to show already... It's gotten a lot of road love already, the paint started chipping in spots so I did the Jeff Blando deal with electrical tape to try to hide it.... now it just adds its own character to it. This pic was from June of last year when I had it for a little over 2 months... so it was still in like-new shape yet... It's looking at getting new pickups at some point... just unsure what yet. I love it. Plays like a dream and fits me really well.

One of these - just because they are fucking bad ass and awesome. Nothing can touch a Ken Lawrence Explorer. Panties just fall right off.....

My Warmoth Soloist, built to my specs.

1-piece mahogany body
Flame koa top
"DbU" headstock
Canary neck - bare wood, no finish -'59 profile
Ebony board - straight 12 radius
24 SS6100 frets

This guitar just flap out rips, the whole guitar resonates when being played, truly feels alive in your hands.

This one because I hand picked the woods and I spent a lot of money on it. It also sounds awesome.

the 3D qualities of that quilt top....you could almost dip a toe in that water!

My number one is my 2001 Gibson Les Paul Classic. It's been my #1 for the past 10 years.

I have a lot of guitars, but for some reason this one sounds and plays really well, and it's the one I typically pick up first.

I'm always hesitant to post on an older thread bumped by someone, but there seems to have been enough extra traffic to the thread that I hope it doesn't make me seem like a troll.

My current #1, but I've got another replica in the works that may bump it.
