If you dig that clip, you gotta go pick up the whole thing, the Live Facelift DVD. It's such a good show man. I've watched it prolly 100 times in the past few months alone.

I have the VHS tape that came as a promo special with the Face Lift CD ...
The entire performance on that is Awesome..
I did not know they made a DVD of it???

I'm pretty sure they re-released it a few years ago on DVD.

I've got it on VHS too, and a .avi file on my external hard drive I downloaded which is a lot better quality than my original VHS, so I'd assume it's a DVD rip.

I just checked no dvd release or at least none that I can find...
But now that we are talking about it I think I going to call a friend and have it transferred over to DVD professionally..

Just as Alice in Chains was about to hit the big time with their heavy hit "Man in the Box" (in the summer of 1991), Columbia reissued their 1990 debut, Facelift, along with a free video, Live Facelift. The video contained five live tracks (recorded during a headline concert at the Moore Theater in their hometown of Seattle), as well as their first two video clips ("We Die Young" and the disturbing "Man in the Box"). The live performances successfully capture the energy of the band as they were still developing into a major metallic force (culminating with their dark 1992 classic Dirt). Featured are rough and electrified versions of the aforementioned "Man in the Box," as well as the dark yet melodic "Sea of Sorrow" and the album tracks "Real Thing," "Love, Hate, Love," and "Bleed the Freak." After Facelift obtained gold certification in the fall of 1991, Sony released Live Facelift as a domestic home video and included a third promo video clip -- "Sea of Sorrow." Fans of early Alice in Chains are sure to enjoy Live Facelift. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide

Hmm, interesting.

Well, if you want me to send you the .avi file I have, I can do that for you. It's completely legal, since you and I both own the VHS already.

PM me if you want it, mate.

Warren Haynes' cover of Radioheads "Lucky"
Black Sabbath - Solitude
I'm not a Pantera fan but "Floods" makes my hair stand up.

Something about SRV's rendition of "Little Wing" has always spoken to me. Just an amazing performance that I never grow tired of hearing.
