about like Pat Robertson blaming the earthquake in Haiti on the citizens of Haiti fighting for independence, or gays in NY for the snowstorms, right? or Todd Akin's "rape detector" comments? Bush didn't cause Katrina, obviously, but he sure did botch the response, IMHO.

You know, I just had to say this particular post resonated with me since I'd read it the other day.

I woke up and made a bigass brekky of french-toast, eggs and cheddar, pan-fried taters, and BACON. My girls loved it, my wife came back from her kickboxing session and flipped.

It's a rarity for me to fry up breakfast, let alone a breakfast replete with BACON.

It was delish!!!

There are some titles that are a pass for me but in general I don't take it all that seriously and how much intense effort is it to click on a thread and swipe two fingers to the left if it's nothing of interest

I will say the "what's best for me" ones are pretty hard to take. I do also appreciate the guys who ask a lot about if a certain piece of gear is right for them and a the end you read they already ordered it and it's in transit How about you tell us if it's right once you get the fucking thing

I don't mind New gear threads as it's fun to be excited about some new shit. It's what keeps forums like this alive.

I just tend to wade through all the threads. Although I get bored quick of the "copy EVH"/shredding/80s-themed/modded Marshall" threads, the good thing is that it's a good community here. So I will take some time to read those threads here and there. That's what I like about this place. I'm grateful for it.

And sometimes, amongst a discussion that on the surface you might think is irrelevant, you often find some good bits of info.

I go to other forums at times to seek information and often get frustrated at people being fixated on certain things or highly opinionated who end up being argumentative, and then the keyboard warriors come out in full force. It's ridiculous.
