What's your favorite 4x12, and why?

I'm currently using a Crate BV412. Got it empty and threw some Emi's in there. If money is tight, keep a look out for these. They are loaded with V30's stock, Baltic Birch, and the general consensus seem's like it's a sleeper for the price/performance ratio.....

I've owned/own Diezel, Mills, VHT, ENGL, Mesa, Bogner and some other cheap ones and Bogner cabs sound best to me. I'll take Bogner 4x12's and oversized 2x12's over anything.

+1
Beware not all BV cabs have V30s.

So many cabs have come and gone at my house. The only one that has stayed has been my Mojo 4x12. I have it loaded with 2 Hellatone 60L's in the bottom and 2 P-50E's in the top. Every amp that I have plugged into this cab has sounded great.

Funny at what different tastes we all have. For example, i think those K100's are total garbage.

That is why I like to hear people play and know what they listen to, for their style k100s may work but all I know for what I want to do those speakers just god damn suck

My Diezel RL h30 cab is a beast but too bad it does not have handles.....a true basement warrior cab

Psychodave's vintage marshall cabs are the best cabs I have heard.

VHT
Randall XL

Both are KICKASS cabs.....
+1 on the XL. My current fav. I also own a recto 412 which ill never get rid of. Ive owned a 5150 cab, 1960, and a carvin. The carvin was the better of those 3 IMO. But the Randall just sounds great. I know Randall has a questionable reputation with some people, but they really do make some GREAT cabs

i love krank cabs. even if the metal grill looks silly rev1 cabs bring the fucking tone.

JCM800 cabs with G12 65's. I don't care what kind of paper mache they're made with...they sound magical

I do not like them by themselves .... but mixed with others it does add a certain bass to the sound I very much like.

I've been thrilled with a Vader 212 for my primary amplifier, an Ampeg VH140C, so tomorrow I'm getting a 412 via Craigslist.
I got this today, and it's perfect. The Ampeg has never sounded better.

The only 4x12 I own is a '78 Marshall w/blackback G12M's. So,....I guess that's my favorite.

Bogner with V30's
VHT w/P50E's
Splawn w/ Guvnors/man o wars in an x pattern
Marshall 1960 w/75w celestions

I will say that i was going to go for all Bogner cabs when we did the shootout w/ all the cabs, as theyre a little less in cost, and were "runner up" in the shootout ,all present that day agreed...but what the heck, got the diezels and love em,but I couldve financed a new house too! l.o.l.

Damn dude what are you going to do with all of those cabs, take over the planet ?

I need a "space modulator" to take over the planet!....anyways, all these cabs do get used in a wet/dry/wet set up...and when room permits, they all go with me...and before one might think that this is enough firepower to eliminate the earth,I'm usually the one in the band @ soundcheck thats asked to turn my rig up. no joke. :)

Diezel is making a monster cab these days.

Love my front loaded Diezel with K100's.

I test rode one of these with my Rivera Knuck Tre. Huge wide tone spectrum. Sounds full from lows to high end. Excellent metal/modern cab.

Bogner Closed Back 4X12. WOW! That's what I think every time I hear one whether it's mine or someone else's.
