How much should a white one, USA, in mint shape sell for these days? Style 1, snow white with the 2 zebra Duncans?

Mint? Something inside me says about $1200 or so.

I still have my 2008 USA Charvel from you Curt. I still love it.

And Curt, I am a dumbass and sold my Green Slime one I got from you back around that time. :( That is one of the guitars I shouldn't have parted with. I loved that thing. :)

At least I still have my Warren DeMartini Charvel. I can still put on my eyeliner, scarves, and bandanas and play "Lay it Down". :)

Did you see that at GC.com? There's a similar one for 1099....while lusting after that one I saw a Plum USA SC1 with a Gator case for 799....Sold! Got pics texted to me, looks mint and has the hang tags. If you are patient and look daily there are deals to be had. For 900 there's a Slime green US San Dimas with a nailbomb bridge, mint in Mpls Craigslist...

Yeah. The white one is local to me. Wasn't sure if that price was too high or not.

I think the USA 08-09's are fetching at least what they went for new, if not more if mint. That one looks mint and the price is probably right. But I've seen custom shops go for 12-1300 as well....not mint but good condition..

I think they would've done better if they had used a Tele headstock; that said, I owned 3 of them, and they were every bit the guitar the strat-shapes were/are. Thicker tone IMO.

Yeah, you loved that thing right out of the box. They were really nice guitars for sure.

It could use a good grind and polish on the frets. Tons of flat spots. If I didn't get my other Charvels, this would need a refret by now.

My MIJ So-Cal is insanely good quality, the neck feels hand made and has a nice "scalloped" feel too it, your finger floats with easy. Couldn't complain

I guess I'm not one of those hooked on the made in usa thing. I had a made in USA so cal back in 2010 and it was a really nice guitar. Ended up selling it when I bought two USA Jackson Adrian Smith strats. Over the last couple of years, I've bought a bunch of the made in mexico pro mods ( I actually have a Specific Ocean San Dimas coming tomorrow) and I think they are great guitars. They play every bit as nice as the made in USA so cal I had. Look around and you can find great deals on these, especially with the holidays around the corner.

So yes, I did buy the USA one for $1099. But I'm thinking of returning it and getting a MIJ one that's in one of the stores for $650. The MIJ has DImarzio while mine has Duncans. I'm still not a fan of the 59 in the neck, sounds pretty thin to me. But the JB in the bridge sounds really good and the thing plays great. It plays as well as Suhr's and Anderson's that cost 3k, not shitting you on that!

Yes, that's what Charvels do. ;)

Yeah there's something about them...just feels great in my hands. Plum USA is shipping to me now, and I found a Copperhead pointy reissue for 800 that I put money down on...that'll be my first 'graphic' flashy guitar, I've always had just basic finishes on mine. Played one Suhr, sounded and played great.....but these Charvels can hang with or surpass most superstrats I've played. Great guitars.

I was thinking you didn't like Charvel because of the wide fretboard....

Anyways, I have a MIJ and I love it. It is a great feeling guitar. I do wish the fretboard was a little narrower, and I think I would prefer a recessed trem, but those are just preferences I have found after owning the So-Cal. They are great playing guitars. If I ever sell it, it will be to build a similar Warmoth with a few changed specs.

Go figure  I do wish it was just a little more narrow but maybe I've learned to stop being such a bitch   But there is something about maple boards that's really nice. I still prefer my PRS DGT neck though. I almost had to sell it to raise funds but I couldn't do it.

There is one in Mesa AZ. Brand new old stock. USA SoCal Black.
