Which glue to use?

Do not drill anything..
Just inject some glue in the crack and clamp it.
I think Stewart MacDonald has some YouTube vids that show you how to glue up cracks and stuff.
That Dan Erlewine guy is a wiz with fixing stuff with glue.

I would use wood glue and try to get it in there as best as you can with a syringe.
