How do you store the pedals you're not using?

Just curious of what others are doing to store pedals that are currently not in use. Wanting to see if there's a better option than what I'm doing.
I made myself a couple of these and put it on a shelf. Just takes a a few pieces of wood, couple of pin nails, and/or glue. I had leftovers from another project to make them. The back row is just lifted on a couple of scrap wood pieces.

Good to se some people still have a sense of dry humor.

I sleep with the ones I don't want to keep under my pillow. Every once and a while I wake up to find that the pedal fairy replaced it with a pile of money. That's why I'm such a good boy all the time.

Pedals in ziplock bags in milk crate of the one's im not using.
I put all electronics in ziplock bags while in storage.

I recently got rid of 90% of my pedals, the few I kept I put back in their original boxes and they are either in a storage ottoman or closet in my guitar room.

I've got too many pedals but I'm getting rid of all my modeling stuff and starting over. Pedals (I always try to buy with packaging, as a screening method to keep me from purchasing too much stuff LOL) are kept two shelves in a bookcase:

On a shelf. I want to see them as an affirmation that I am on top with superficial possession of guitar gear I don’t necessarily need.

The shelf is crowded, but I haven’t leveled up enough to outgrow it. Probably won’t, as any meaningful addition to what I have is going to be another amp or guitar, and really expensive.
