Which glue to use?

I would break it the rest of the way off then glue it.

Yeah, scratch my last statement. I was able to spread it open a little and the syringe worked perfectly. I used a small screwdriver so, I did leave a little mark on the crack which I might just ignore. We'll see what it looks like when it dries.

It's clamped and drying now.

When it dries sand it with 800 grit, with the grain. Wipe a little walnut NGR on it and Bob's yer uncle.

Is the "mark" just a impression from the screwdriver or actual wood missing?
Because..... If it's an impression you can easily steam the spot and the wood will return to just about new.
Or if wood is missing you can sand a little from a inconspicuous spot. Then fill the missing area, and a little dab of super glue, let dry, Uncle bob is definitely your uncle. Derka Derka

The small impression left by prying with a screwdriver will likely be filled with glue and hardened.

I am hoping it's not real noticeable.

Ok.. I would try steaming it out first.
I don't want to sound like I'm trying to tell you what to do. Just want your outcome to be a good one.

If you don't color it I would at least put a little sealer on it. Better would be to wipe a little stain or NGR close to that color and then sanding sealer, then lacquer, but it looks ok as is. I'd still put something on it. Sealer, poly or something.

I don’t believe you should use water. I’d go with titebond.

Just to make sure it fits, the distance to the 12th fret and the distance from the 13th fret to the saddle should be the same correct?

Measured and it's 12 3/4 to the 13 fret and 12 7/8 to the saddle. I though it wasn't going to work but that seems to be the same on other strats.

it's got a squared heel but so does the Aerodyne I am putting it on. Heel width is 2 3/16.
