Who buys guitar magazines anymore?

Haven't bought any lately, but sometimes I just like to have a "tangible" read in my hands, rather than on the internet. Being stuck in the 80's has its advantages though, because I recently re-stocked my supply of Guitar for the Practicing Musician, via Ebay (alot of my original purchased mags got water damaged in storage between moves).

My research of gear is done via the internet these days. But I would still rather read an old interview with Jason Becker, Gary Moore, Lynch, etc, over the ramblings of whoever is hot in the Djent world at this very moment.

I guess I grew out of GW. The last couple of issues I've bought lately made for pretty quick reads. I used to read GW, GP, GFTPM religiously from cover to cover. I think the bubble burst for me when GFTPM folded. That was a great mag with the best transcriptions. Noticed how half assed the tabs looked in GW a few weeks ago, that kinda made me a little sad. Seems like in that particular issue, 3 of the 4 tabs had been beaten to death over the years already at GW. Sweet Home Alabama tabs, really?

I'm a digital subscriber to Premium Guitar, but don't really read it much. I'll glance thru the table of contents & pick 'n choose an article or two to read at work.

Still have a box of late 80s/early-mid 90s GWs/GFTPM/GP mags over at my parents house. Sometimes, I'll sneak into the garage & snag a few to bring back home with me when I go over to visit.
