You guys would like West Virginia if you were retired or had remote work positions. Cost of living is low… land is cheap compared to other places. They tax everything but compared to other areas it’s still cheap. Policing is a little out of hand because it’s treated as a revenue stream. Not a lot of people and lots of trees, rivers, lakes and critters to eat. Plus it’s true four seasons country. We get more rain than Seattle and certain areas are closer to a northern winter than you would assume to be possible here….

You live in a beautiful state, bro. I hope I can get out your way to visit sometime!

Swing down and pick me up on your way out there I wanna go to holy cross!!!

Thanks everyone! Delivery guys are dropping off furniture and I have been mowing all morning trying to beat the storm coming. Soon as stuff settles down I’ll be jamming and trying those puppies out.

Okay got the blue one set up, frets polished, fretboard oiled, overall good clean and a few little tweaks, neck is pretty flat and I lowered the action. Strung it up with 9-42 Dr silver stars….. intonation is spot on. Has alpha pots in it but not sure what the pups are yet. Sounds very similar to my root tele in the bridge but all strat in the neck. Albeit a dark Strat if that makes sense. Frets must be super jumbo’s. Really large. Solid also. The finish is pretty shitty. Silk screen or something. Just not clean… from a few feet away it looks great but looking close you can see the imperfections. Other than the finish this is an excellent guitar. Once I get the other set up I’ll decide which one gets the fookin furious treatment with the yjm Jonny gave me. Plus I have a Duncan distortion that the mailman gave me as well that will go in the bridge. Not sure what they are worth but I would rank them with Ltd 1000 level imports as far as quality goes.
