Will regular Switchcraft or Allparts jacks work in cabs?

I need a jack for rewiring a 1960a from stereo to just mono. Do I have to have a cabinet specific jack or can I just use whatever the local Guitar Center has in stock?

I used regular switchcraft mono jacks on a 212 cab I made with no problems.

Yes, that should work. This should help you out too; a bunch of wiring schemes using 1/4" jacks like that.

I’ve frequently used mono Switchcraft jacks with my cabs with no issues

I have the Switchcraft 1/4" jacks on both my cabs and they work great.
