The Matchless model was fantastic and I can't remember which models I used for creamy leads but boy did it have cream in spades.

My dad had bought me one of these for my 18th birthday. He hated hearing me play guitar, so he thought I’d use the headphone jack. I ended up using it in front of the amp I was using at the time. lol. This guy will never require a subscription. It spreads the love for free.

You ever fuck around with a Fractal? Kinda sounds dirty reading that lolThis
A modeler is a tool for a specific use-case
A subscription changes the cost-benefit analysis for that use-case substantially
That thing was badass, I don’t care what anyone says.My dad had bought me one of these for my 18th birthday. He hated hearing me play guitar, so he thought I’d use the headphone jack. I ended up using it in front of the amp I was using at the time. lol.

C’mon man, you can say the same thing about Friedman. Chicken/egg lol….That doesn't change what they are, at the core, though. WIthout amps they wouldn't have anything to model and would be worthless
Hell yeah they would—sorry haven’t read the whole thread, who is proposing this?If they tried to make it a subscription based service they would all go out of business in months.

People have been updating and buying modelers because of the same ancient amps for decades now. That horse left that barn a long time agoNo, actually you can't - the whole point is that they model amps - friedman makes amps
If there are no new amps to model, no one has any reason to buy a new modeler or update their old one
Yes, I’m not very observant lolLiterally the first post of the thread lol
Fucking well doneWell the market has spoken and absolutely no one wants this. So, expect Fryette to be the first company to launch this service shortly.
One day, they will all realize. This guy will never require a subscription. It spreads the love for free.
