I use an MXR 10 band EQ in the loop set flat with no additional gain for a slight solo volume boost only. Just regular channel setup too, no onboard boost used either, gain set at 3:00 on the amp. That little amp cuts through everything

Cool thanks for replying. Just curious, why not just patch the send to return fx loop and make the return vol knob higher for a volume boost? Would this not work or am I not understanding something ? Not being facetious here just genuinely curious .

Well because I already run the front end hot and use the return volume as a global master volume ? I need clean volume boost, not more gain or drive
