i would do school. no matter how good the band is now, 99.9% chance they will fall apart in a year or two due to any number of reasons...
the contacts you make at music school may get you gigs for LIFE.....Berklee alums are light a tight fraternity, and help each other....
you have to follow your heart, so you don't up saying "what if"......
of course,this advice is coming from a guy who refused to go audition with a band named "tabitha's secret" that got signed to RCA.....i heard their demo tape, and thought they were pretty accessible, sort of rock/pop music lite, and had great potential.....but did not need a guitarist like me, with mad skills.....

that band ended up changing their name to Matchbox 20, and i am the asshole who blew Rob Thomas off and never returned his calls
