I really enjoy meticulous studio artist Page. That said I've found I don't enjoy doped up live Page. Or too much damage done to ever recover Page. Or can no longer slop through Stairway Page. Those guys make my ears hurt.

I kinda blew past this tune because the intro was simple. Dumb to judge a tune in 5 seconds.
Great chorus as the tune gets up to speed. Paul Rogers' voice is so good..
Overdrive in full with that big fat background riff at 1:56..

You're apparently responding to someone else. I didn't say anything about YJM. I said doped up Page is an earsore. It is harsh. It's also true. Drug abuse often leads to harsh realities - it certainly did for him.

i always dug this song, except for the cheesy early 80s production. this live version is much better. i was not aware this song was a strat, watching him play it now with one is kind of an odd thing to see.
