Without question my favorite player as well. Jimmy is a little sloppy (so am I), but man the songs he wrote..... They will be on the radio as long as people listen to music.

Man ain't it the truth. This guy has got Stairway to Haven, The Rover, Misty Mountain Hop, ... Oh I could go on and on. Tough to out song write Jimmy.

Those are all really great choices, but really, is there any question?

These fellas
Must not have done very well in 4th grade - including some others . . .

I don't understand. Even so, you're probably right. A couple of them were too busy teaching me to play guitar- what I knew would become my passion. (right around 4th grade, actually!  ) It's all we ever did, all we cared or talked about and I don't know what my life would be like without that passion. Which is why they'll always be my all time favorites.

Whoa.. that's strange concept that just hit me.. Where would we all be without that passion?

Right now, it's Eric Johnson. Two months from now it might be Jeff Beck or Joe Bonamassa. It's sort of a revolving door of those three. Robin Trower, Rory Gallagher, and Stevie Ray Vaughan fill out the top 6.

Edit: Spelling

Impossible to pinpoint just one.

Longest standing fave??

Boy seems to be an EVH shortage...

No love for Hendrix, SRV, Townshend, ? Damn

EVH, but I guess my playing style is a mix of EVH, Sykes, early Zakk and Schon

I'll probably go for Josh Homme, during his Kyuss years. Not really technical but his playing just moves me.
