YT Influencers That Deserve Signature Gear

I'm cool with Charles Berthoud having a signature bass, because let's face it, he is the most badass bassist on the planet and has an insane level of skill and dedication, so he deserves one. Maybe Davie504 too? But Fluff, Rabea, Jared Dines, and all these other nerds don't deserve signature gear.
What’s wrong with Rabea? I think his reviews are ok. Never really heard any band he was in though.
Honestly every single youtuber that has signature gear deserves to get skullfucked

There is no universe where "influence" peddlers should be getting signature guitars and amps, but thanks to retards taking over the guitar space after covid, here we are

edit: devin has a fair point, if you are an actual musician who plays in actual bands that i've heard of? you're allowed signature gear. That does not include Fluff, HP42, Agufish, etc

That does include Ola, because he played in the haunted and i had heard of them before I had heard of Ola on youtube
I would hate to be called an “influencer” to be honest. The negative reputation of having that word tied someone is well deserved.

I remember Ola posting clips on harmony central way back in the day. Dude really got some great tones even back then.

Rhet Shull.........lol

What would be the criteria?

Id say

1) can play half decent
2) not a dick (and in this day and age, this is more important)

Jens Larsen, Leon Todd, Digital John (Andertons), Michael Neilsen, Brett Kingman.

Stuggling beyond that.

None. Great electronics & music gear should be created for consumers by engineers because they're great products
not because someone shills on youtube.

I guess this is a good reason why guitar “influencers” shouldn’t get signature gear lol.

That is exactly why influencers shouldn't be getting signature gear.

The whole system is completely idiotic now. You pay some advertising agency to shill your music video or whatever billions and billions of times and play the numbers game, and thats how bands "make it" now. Only, if you're a band you're splitting that 4 ways? So why not make elevator music "demos" of gear like that lesbian with the lazy eye by yourself!

Congrats, you are now an influencer

The dudes playing in this video is pretty hilarious and the comments make it even better lol.

I mentioned him in Dan's thread about the fake influencer, and after seeing Danny Sapko's video's about this giacass, it turns out he ripped off multiple small guitar builders by not doing the number of videos agreed upon for receiving the free guitar and then even selling it afterwards.

Count Dracula Yuge is a cool guy, but I notice he has a habit of comparing every amp he demos to his "Bad Boy" 80's Marshall 800.

Well, I'm watching him demo a Diezel VH-4 and as soon as he switched to Ch 2, he had to start comparing.
IMO, it backfired hard. That Diezel, on Ch 2, no less, made his "Bad Boy" sound like a broken Peavey Bandit.

That guy Fluff is a non-watch for me. Reminds me of Wimpy from Popeye.
Rabeah, or whatever the f&ck his name is, should do a demo that isn't in his parent's attic.
Rhett Shull should have a Strap-On endorsement.

Yeah I remember that! The dude is a turd straight up.

Yep, 'El caballo Verta' (I had Spanish subs on for some weird reason...that's what they made of his name :ROFLMAO: ) seems cool, but yeah, that Diezel pwned his So-so cranky boy at that moment.

Oh, even with English subs on, his name is still Spanish sounding...
