Greg's not really an influencer, has gigged and has loads of his own stuff out well before YT. also has his own signature gear.
BUT...and this is the main point...Greg has his own style which is well recognisable. Most influencers dont have their own style IMO. They dont have their own sound, and I wouldnt know who it was if blindfolded. I think this is the IDEAL criteria.

Greg is a weird one, as it isn't really a "band" in the normal sense, but I would say he was famous for his instructional books and playing live long before he was famous for youtube/wildwood
So he doesn't feel like Fluff, Rabea, etc - the guys who really shouldn't have a signature guitar with a big brand. The cockmaster just feels different than them because he has respectable guitar related stuff in his background besides "worked at andertons in the 2000s"

People who have popular instagram pages and youtube channels from which they gained their fame and notoriety; we have clarified that Ola (among others) was a guitarist in well known bands long before youtube so he doesn't count

Ok . I listen and play music all day . Then at bed I just watch YouTube for history and science . I don’t use Instagram . I mean I hear the term .ola being not one makes sense .

I only spoke with Ed once way back in the year 2000. He was a little rude over the phone, but I just got a sense to avoid him at the time.

I literally have zero issue with the youtubers, like 'em, hate 'em whatever, they're screwing with gear all day and it is a job, so good for them.
But sig gear, no. I'm not a fan sig guitar to begin with unless it's generic enough to reach alot of people but influencers, no thank you. As you said there's nothing original about an influencer, their the last people that need sig gear.
