The irony is that so much scientific discovery has been rooted in skepticism. Science, true science is not done with a specific result in mind. Most of it comes from “this shit makes absolutely no sense, and I want to know why”. And once they figure out why, they make efforts to prove themselves wrong.Science is cold, hard facts.
No opinions.
No misinterpretations.
No faith crap.
Repeatable, verifiable facts.
Outside of academia, using science to prove a desired result, is pretty much junk science.
If more people used their skepticism to drive discovery instead of being miserable pricks, we’d actually be living in the future
