Well, Nashville was nuts.
I enjoyed that quite a bit.
Agreed
The track was brutal, transponder tracking went tits up causing a 10-12 min delay while they rounded up clip boards to do manual scoring, Eli makes a fatal error to run the scoop tire on brown ice that even the HP tires wouldn’t hook up on. I guess if you run it in the heat races and win you don’t wanna change it for the main..
It’s amazing how fast those guys can go on that stuff in totally bombed out conditions.
Kenny was still good, Cooper Webb had a great night, Hunter is back where he needs to be. Sexton also had a good night even though he was not on the box.
The track looked like Carlsbad in the 70’s

While I welcome different types of soil to keep things more challenging and not having everything the same every weekend, to throw 1 track in that’s blue groove brown ice when you have been doing the opposite for years can be dangerous at those speeds.
If they mixed it up all the time it would let some of the guys who excel on hardpack and throttle control make up some points.
Eli doesn’t really use throttle control. He is a full send guy on a track that you could not possibly get away with that on.
Hunter is a throttle control guy through and through. Kenny is too. Copper Webb is kinda between the 2
Good night though, when you see Davies being cautious in the whoops you know they are heart stopping
