In no particular order:

-Metallica's Load/Reload
-Metallica's Garage Inc (the new songs)
-Green Day Dookie
-Almost anything from Iced Earth and Jon Schaffer
-Joe Bonamassa The Ballad of John Henry

No mention of any of Brian May tones? I know they're very studio crafty with multiple layers but boy does that guy make some sweet noise.

Hmm. If I could have a 5 button footswitch with my 5 favorite tones on there, here's what it would be.

1. Hetfield's Mark IIC crunch from Master Of Puppets
2. Blackmore's lead sound from Strange Kind of Woman, Live version from Made In Japan
3. Gary Moores live sound from One Night In Dublin DVD
4. Accept's massive distortion from Balls to the Wall
5. John Sykes' super thick Mesa/Boogie sounds from Screaming Blue Murder Live In Japan

Some lead tones-

Hendrix-Machine Gun
Holdsworth -Devil take the Hindmost
Uli Jon Roth-Hiroshima
Jeff Beck-Two Rivers
dig some Yngwie vibrato-Black Star

OHHHHHHHHH I forgot about The Oncoming Storm. That's definitely up there for me. If I remember correctly pure 5150 bliss.

I was thinking "Death on Two Legs" .... but I was keeping it to five. Really I had more like 10/20 favorites.
