I absolutely love that mixed, but it was an acquired taste for me. The music I always thought was incredible, but I remember when I first heard it, the guitars were pretty scratchy. I think I've kinda learned to love that vibe from the 16 ohm Marshall V30's.

Don’t listen to him. He’s also the guy that said boosting 350 hz is key to good guitar tone. Tries to insult everyone but huffs paint every time before posting.
I said that was a key frequency in Hetfield's tone on the black album, it was recorded with room mics. Quit your bullshit.

Anyone with any ears can tell that Dimebag's tone is solid state, at least 90% solid state IMO. Even the producer commented that the Randall's were the main tone. So get over this Wizard shit. Sure he used it, but it wasn't the main tone.

You’re such a weirdo always because you think you know dimes stuff and you don’t . Just accept it. All you do is try to talk shit to everyone you must be miserable in life . I hope it gets better for you bro , I do
I do know Dime's stuff. I know almost every piece of gear he used. I've read all the interviews, i've seen the pictures.

I heard it. It wasn't re-recorded. Just remixed. You can still hear the raw ENGL savage vibe from the OG in the remix.

It's just the drums that sound super generic, IMO. And the mix overall wasn's as "dirty" as the original. Which is a shame because even though Dimmu have never been inner circle or any of that shit, they're still Black(ish) Metal. Just kinda polished well-produce more accessible. But the rawer, edgier, dirtier mix (that still sounded well-produced) from before was a lot more fitting, IMO.

There's a version that's also re-recorded. It's pretty bad. Guitars sound weak and pretty uninspired, almost like a crappy cover. With the release of The Halo Effects album and this re-recording it just further cements that Jesper was a huge piece of the puzzle for that early In Flames sound.

No, I meant for the Dimmu Borgir record. Not Clayman.

Clayman re-recorded is an aberration. Honestly, it's so disrespectful to what I'd say is probably Fredman's masterpiece.

I personally like In Flames. Even new In Flames. I listen to them for what they are. The new records don't hit me as hard as Whoracle did when I first listened to it. But it's like listening to two completely different bands where you can sometimes sorta kinda hear some elements of what made me like them when I first heard them.

I remember I saw a YouTube short where they ask Anders what he thinks of Halo, and he sorta kinda seems salty and replies "I don't care. they sound more like Dark Tranquillity than In Flames."

I've seen an interview with Bjorn and he just changes the topic quickly. The In Flames dudes are definitely having some kind of feelings. The Halo Effect dudes managed to put an album that we've been begging In Flames to make for years.

For me, Days of the Lost is the best record from Gothenburg that I've heard in a while. I haven't been as excited about a record since At War with Reality, personally.

Gothenburg Melodeath is my favorite style of music.

No, you were critiquing someone’s guitar tone on here saying it sucked, and it needed more 350 hz because you chose to use the black album as your reference. So YOU quit YOUR bull shit.

Bro 350!hz is the KEY to extreme clarity and great tone!!!! boost it by 15db always with a wide Q! it’s the secret! I saw it from Tommy mctitenstein on YouTube!

Dimebag 100 percent used wizards on the real pantera . Rick even sent the equipment line up Dime used . Fuck even vinnie Paul admitted this . Do I have to show you the article again with his I yervie , the only album that sounds Randall is far beyond driven .Rgs are blended in the real pantera albums but the tone is wizard big time . Dude… anomaly said he KNOWS the wizards must be “ At low volume “‘mixed in, because he’s heard lots of clips of them. You don’t know what you’re talking about! They just… you know… mixed it in at low volume ( whatever the fuck that means) and it’s so obvious because I’ve also heard clipzzzz of wizards!!! I saw it on YouTube by Johnny jackenstein as well!
