 You were seriously scaring me with that crap. I figured it would only be a matter of time before you were playing an LP.
Good to see you're going straight!

sonofa..... what'd I just say? :gethim:

You asked me to stop mentioning something and I wanted to know if it was the harmonizer. Is it the harmonizer? If it is, I can stop mentioning the harmonizer. It's not a problem, really, I mean, I have a harmonizer so not mentioning it to you, who doesn't have a harmonizer would be easy to do.

Ok... go ahead... Sound Toys is gonna release SoundBlender (the Eventide harmonizer plugin I used with PT) for Logic 8/AU in a couple months anyway... for under $400... nanner, nanner, nanner...

Was a matter of time before I got bored...and then a matter of time where the money didn't sooth the boredom. :)

Harmonizer? Isn't there one of those attached to the end of your left arm for free? Don't give me this "what are you gonna do live?" argument. Playing live would involve that 4 letter word Bob mentioned earlier B - A - N - D. No thanks. :D

I should say that my only need and want for the Axe-FX would be for direct recording in a studio.

And I'm gonna stand in Ralph's corner here. I WANT an Axe-FX to work for me. I promise I do and I know Ralph does too. I'm not attached to vintage tube amps that need to be freaking cranked and attenuated and put into soundproofed walk in closets. I'm not into tube amps being on in my little recording room and heating up the room so much it's almost unbearable. I'll sell all my vintage Marshalls tomorrow. I'll sell my boutique tube heads too. I can't wait for the product that convinces me to. I really dug Ed's clip earlier where that rhythm guitar sounds great halfway through. That has been the best rhythm tone I've heard so far from the AXE-FX.

So I'll speak for myself and not Ralph, but if he is a "hater" I'm a "hater" too. I would rather describe my thinking on the Axe-Fx as VERY HOPEFUL, but slightly disappointed so far. Sorry to the guys who dig it. I hope to be one of you one day soon.

Not this time, was just stating the truth as I was posting in one thread and it was pulled before I hit the submit button. I guess I am being setup to look like a troublemaker by the response I received but just stating a fact.

I will be using the print screen on my keyboard more often.............................

I have seen you mention this a few times.

Never noticed it myself, but then I don't hang at TGP much.....too much corksniffingheadupyourassery over there for me in general. But, if it has happend, it is bullshit.

He definitely used his position to exonerate himself with tricky word play in the thread, lol

Not worth the effort unless he gives up the home field advantage

Kage - how do you use a whammy pedal when it's in your rack? :D
Seriously Pete? I cant tell with the Smiley there but anyhow, its the Whammy 4 which is MIDIfied, hook up a MIDI cable to it and program the necessary setting into your MIDI foot controller and you operate it with the expression pedal thats hooked up to the controller, works like a charm!!

So Cliff you live in Mass huh???

Shit, I could have drove up this weekend to grab kage's unit and delivered it via "business trip" to the city.
Stop Grabbing Kages unit Mr. :gethim:

Yo Ralphie - don't you think you should leave that up to Kage?

Steve
Well Steve, being my best Bro, Ralphie is rather protective of my unit as I am of his. That said, I am honored that you would look out for my unit and my freedoms regarding its handling, you are a true friend!!!

Very cool, I didn't know you could do that with one. I have a Whammy IV too, but the Axe has whammy built into it. :D

I have seen posts deleted but not entire threads.

The thread about what people don't like about the Axe-Fx at TGP is heating up. I asked one question about latency and you would have thought I slammed the whole product. When did a question become an insult?

I didn't see your post, but to address latency from a players prospective...

Remember how you could almost HEAR the latency on the original PODs?

On the XT, it was much better, but I thought you could still feel it in a big way.

On the Axe-fx, it's nearly gone. I think it's s'pozta be like 4x quicker than the pods. IMO, it's a big deal in the 'feel' issue. I remember reading one of Cliffs posts about him dicking around with some idea, but abandoning it because it increased the latency by some tiny number.... this tells me that he understands fully, that latency KILLS feel.
