The opening riff in "All You Need Is Rock & Roll" is one of my all-time 80's favorites. The rest of the song is pretty generic and disappointing. A great riff wasted... IMHO

The fact Vito is being talked about in the same sentence as Eddie (25 years after the fact) shows he made a pretty good impact. I loved his playing at the time and still appreciate it. He was very melodic....something so much of us are missing (including myself)...probably why we distract ourselves chasing tone. lol
he was a Ada Mp-1 user right? trying to remember?
I bought a one for that reason and was copping some tone REALLY CLOSE with the ADA.
That was a pretty decent unit for that tone. Used it for about 10 years. Sold it on Ebay for more then I paid for it.
