You should post it. I haven't watched Rick's video, but find the concept of perfect pitch to be fascinating. I think you can ear train and learn relative pitch, but it's not really the same as having perfect pitch.
Disclaimer: these statements were made with no evidence whatsoever.

Well, I don't want to use this site as my own promotion tool, but if you search "can adults really develop absolute pitch?" you'll find it easily. It was my first video, so if I look a little nervous, it was because I wasn't used to filming myself yet.

I don't really engage much in YT comments because I get so many ridiculous ones.

You're supposed to say "SMASH THAT LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE BUTTON!!!!"

It’s like when the White Stripes broke and then we got inundated with two member bands. They all sounded like shit to me live, no matter what tricks they tried to have low end.

I never got into the White Stripes either. To me, that was boring Millennial music.

It's "math rock" which is an extension/evolution of midwest emo. It's not just the genre that makes it that way though, it's the way "guitar music" has been co-opted by a certain type of fan/person
I just had a flashback to all those emo posts on HCAF!

What’s even funnier than this band is the front row bandwagon in ecstasy at every little move, squeak, boing as if they’re about to be raptured.

Some Fandom can be a bit much.... but they do seem to be having a good time.

I do like this band experience. It is something new and fun. But I don't believe it will have longevity.

I much prefer a band like Ozric Tentacles as I believe there is more going on musically than Angine's extended jams...

My hot take is that everyone is thinking too deeply about this. Is it going to have longevity? why are people having fun? is it real music?

Doesn't seem to matter what happens if it's not 1980's Ratt or some other bullshit it's never good enough hahaha

y'all are curmudgeons

Yeah because God forbid on a forum for guitar musicians, guitar musicians have opinions good, bad or indifferent about new guitar music 😂

"Are you guys being critical of things? Being critical of something means I'm somehow not allowed to like it anymore. It's never caused any problems in art or media when people accept everything uncritically. Look at hollywood! New movies are so vibrant, loved, artistically successful, and well-attended nowadays. Gatekeeping is bad because I don't want to be forced to decide whether I like something objectively, I want to decide if I like things based on how much everyone else likes them"

In all seriousness, just like the White Stripes, this band is like "dumb co-worker music." I feel like this should be a thing.

Everyone always has the annoying coworker who is always into The Current Thing© no matter how fucking horrible and stupid it is.
