That's nothing like Anus Pro-teen because it's actually listenable. I tried a microtonal guitar once and quickly realized how pointless it was. Funny, because the dude who owned was a dope too. Probably loves Anus pro-teen.
It's all controlled. A band like that would have a very hard time even landing a local gig at an establishment who pays nothing but the door and even they would understand that most people will leave or won't come at all. But here they are in the international spotlight. Probably the finest example of music industry fakery ever devised.I swear, people just get told what to hype up because of the fucking algorithm and repeat it and infinitum like lemmings

It won't really work. Bro country has an element of listenability (ok not really but it's bland like cheerios). Trash rap has the thug lifestyle factor. This just has that, as you said, music elite pedophiles rape children in run down eastern bloc tenements feel to it. It's 100% by design, staged. That's what makes me think this is some kind of industry "half prank" that the executives at media companies are throwing at the wall to see if people will eat the slop.
It's so stupid and obnoxious that it seems intentional

Yeah, the pedophile vibe all the way. Everything "viral" is staged. Remember the Oliver Anthony stuff? Half assed nobody from no place suddenly achieves worldwide fame with one mediocre song. Can't remember where I read it but all of a sudden he was demanding 100k per performance and the venue he had booked was all bent out of shape, LOL. Where is he now? Another rich man from richmond. It 100% sounds like the aural equivalent of John Podesta's living room 'artwork' it's unbelievable

Why the masks? What are they hiding?
Nothing dramatic, as it turns out, though the origin story is almost too on-brand to be believed. They started wearing masks in 2019 because they got double-booked at the same venue in the same week and didn’t think anyone would show up to see the same band twice in seven days. So they covered their faces as a practical joke.
The joke became a costume, the costume became an identity...
It's always been controlled but now you have to be part of the cult to have that profile level. Not sure if you're familiar with Tom McDonald....I don't like his stuff but he had more digital streams than the biggest names in rap. They refused to credit him because the same people controlling the companies control billboard. You aren't going mainstream without being a part of it i.e they get dirt on you on video, and then can control everything via blackmail. It's so stupid that this is where the "music" industry is at.
Like it literally does not matter what the music itself is, its all about the machine choosing you to get likes and clicks and spamming social media
This is the most concrete proof possible that people will accept ANYTHING. Any slop thats tossed in front of them.

Well, it's all an illusion that will come crashing down one day. I just try to focus on my stuff and not worry about it because none of that is real. It's all contrived and tbh to have that level of notoriety puts you in a place most people don't wanna be, which is why the biggest names are all jacked in the head and miserable for the most part. It's why every actor is forced into women's clothing, for example. It's why the entire anus pro-teen imagery is purely occultic. The fact that this is the bleeding edge of "trendy" music is honestly really fucking depressing
Yet you continue to grind away for stamps while they pad their retirement? How noble of you. I can't for the life of me understand being so personally bothered by something I didn't care for. To each their own...Like, I could shit out a band like anus pustule with a full record in like 10 days (although I would probably go insane trying to write music this bad)

A friend of a friend. My old plumbers son played bass with Chick Corea let me tell you all about his personal life. The guitarist is a friend of a friend. I'm inclined to think he's not part of a cult or group of elites controlling the industry
With all due respect to their art, it’s a gimmicky schtick. Most of the civilized music we have today is not microtonal and that in itself makes it akin to listening to a foreign language. Most of us musicians speak 12 tone octaves. My wife is a card carrying BTS fan with at least a $100G in collectible memorabilia and I can’t listen to it… because most is in Korean, which is not the language of my heart, and thus it just doesn’t reach me. I appreciate it but I have a struggle warming up to it. Same is true for microtonal stuff… it sounds out of tune and strange, and due to the lack of lyrics there is absolutely zero timelessness to their music, because there’s nothing to sing along to. I’m 53y/o and I have a vast knowledge of music and an epic collection, and very open minded, but this has no appeal. It’s another fad that will be here to fans gone tomorrow.I don't see any Neo-Soul in that either.
Thelonius Monk had similar reasoning. The interesting thing about microtonal music is that it tends to confuse people with absolute pitch. I have this ability and there's 12 very distinct feelings to each of the notes we are used to hearing. When you split them up between each note, it ends up sounding like both of those notes it is in between, rather than a unique tone. I suspect music wasn't really meant to be microtonal because of this reason. If you look at the color wheel in art, there's 12 colors and there's 12 music notes. I find it interesting that human senses and perception has this number 12 in both vision and hearing.
