Any Jackson players here go back and forth between a soloist and a fusion?

I'm a long time Jackson soloist player , but I've never had the opportunity to try a Fusion.
I'm wondering if you can really feel the difference between the 2 scale lengths and if it's any more difficult to
play up high on the Fusion than it is a Soloist? (do the frets start to feel crowded?)
on my bucket list but I don't want to bother tracking one down if it's more difficult , not easier to play (Those Charvel 750XL's were 24.75 scale and I've seen
some serious shredding on those)

Well, people go back and forth between scale lengths all the time, and since that difference in scale length is spread out across the whole string it doesn´t make that much difference on the spacing between two individual frets. Personally I don´t have any high fret issues on my 750 compared to my Soloists, but then again I have narrow fingers :giggle:

And yes, you can feel the difference between 24.75" and 25.5", everything else being equal. Whether you like 24.75" or not, that´s a different story.

^^^^ that pretty much sums it up right there.I own a bunch of soloists and a Saturn fusion.while you can feel the scale difference to some degree, what I find that is a bit different is the feel around the bridge pickup/ floyd rose on the fusion. For me anyways, it makes me reposition my picking hand a bit. Some may never even notice it tho. The more you go between a full scale and fusion soloist and play both, like all the time, the less you'll notice any of that.
