Maybe GC will now whore out the 09's like they did the Stiletto series 1. I'm still pissed I didn't pick up a Stiletto 1 for $899, I think it was.

My Stiletto Trident was about a $1000 after tax. I have not done a gig with it and it has been in it's box most of the life. If you are interested ..... let me know, I have too many amps.

The money for that kind of purchase is long gone. Plus I planned on using an attenuator on it so I would need a deuce.

See, I disagree. I'm more of a plexi guy and the series 1 cranked up sounded almost identical to a '71 Superlead I had. I was amazed at how close they were. I don't like either Stiletto for metal tones but for rock tones I like the 1st one better.

This. If you take a Stage I, put it on "Crunch" on Channel 1 (not Channel 2, they're different) and crank it up, it gets amazingly close to an old Plexi sound. If you like Plexi's but need more versatility, Stage I is where it's at. It's just not a metal amp.

Clips sounded pretty decent. I had a Dual rec a few years back. Sounded like crap.
This one seems to be on a different Level.
Still dont seem to sound as good as that Mark III I got though.

Just my opinion.....no bashing here.

Came close to pulling the trigger last night. But, I got so much Mesa now, I can't play them all. Plus, got my Marshall in for mods, my Marsha being built, and the one I can't mention being thought about. Greg's clip really does it justice.
