the average trans person just wants to live their life without being fucked with, and want to have the same civil rights as straight cis gender folks. The internet and the real powers that be (i.e legacy media, cable news, pundents, etc) would lead you to believe that trans people want to turn everyone else trans or have the gov pay for kids to transition without their parents knowing or any other number of wild theories. Hair metal bands got more women than metal, thrash and prog metal bands combined. That was my experience back in the day.

Back in the day, I played in hair metal, thrash, death and prog metal bands. When I was gigging late '70s to mid-90's, hair metal gigs were filled with women, classic/hard rock/new wave/punk were mixed; every other heavy/prog music gig was mostly men in the crowd.
