I don't really care about tube vs. digital, whatever works for someone else is fine. What grinds my gears is when the ceo of a company can't treat his paying customers with respect or gratitude that they purchased his product, and instead acts like its a privilege that they get to use them at all...

You don't see that kind of behavior from other guys in the emulation world. Every online interaction I've seen with Cristophe has painted him as a gracious person, the same with Guillame from two notes. It's good business to treat your customers with dignity, and thats where my qualm with fractal is placed.

Pretty crazy. To me, the comment reads more like a flippant (albeit benign) smart-ass comment—not a personal insult to the designer. Just by nature of the market they're trying to tap, wisecracks are going to run rife in the Fractal/Kemper discussions, but that's the price of admission.

Why ban when you can just laugh and shrug it off?

Maybe I am missing something but those pretty much all sound identical to me in the L6 HD

I didn't think they sounded identical. But unless that's just an example of presets out of the box it's useless. I'd imagine I could dial in either of those units to get the sound of the other very quickly.

I guess I needed to be more articulate. Whether or not the HD at it's best could duplicate the Axe at it's best, or the other way around, IDK. But that video really didn't answer that question.
