Maybe I am missing something but those pretty much all sound identical to me in the L6 HD

I didn't think they sounded identical. But unless that's just an example of presets out of the box it's useless. I'd imagine I could dial in either of those units to get the sound of the other very quickly.

Yes, and you can buy a used HD500 for under $300. What's the price of the Axe-2 WITH the floorboard?

That video is really old and the POD has gotten about 4x better since then, and the Axe has gotten about 50x better since then.

There is a MUCH bigger difference in person...

Unless there was information you were needing from the forum, I wouldn't count it as any loss. If I ever end up with an AxeFX, I'll only frequent the forum if I'm needing to research info. Some other forums are similar. I'd just approach them differently and not spend much time on them.

I actually don't own an AxeFx anymore. Sold it about 6 months ago.
It was only a matter of minutes before my reply was removed and the ban was invoked. Not sure who did it and don't really care.

I think there's a definite "douche" quotient with all things "Fractal Forum". But the product is impressive. It bothers me that Cliff and the other lemmings over there are the equivalent of 45 year old Star Wars fans. If I ever do get an Axe, it'll be a used one. I won't give the company my money. Further, John Suhr takes way more shit, in the way of smart-ass remarks, by some of the guys on this forum but he takes it in stride and with class. Cliff would do himself a service to follow John's lead. Pun intended.

It's probably no loss, the axe is a great tool and far more enjoyable if you stay away from the community, it's quite unpleasant over there tbh.
