Kinda sad no one's voted for Pulling Teeth. Cliff was a beast, possibly the best metal bass player ever

The four horsemen.

Love that song.

Jump in the fire too, but with a faster tempo.

In the end, the whole fucking album is EPIC.

🔥🔥🔥🔥

And just think, four kids barely ~20 yo wrote and recorded it!

There have been no equivalent kids since, and sure as hell none today.

Kill 'em all is the best start to finish - masterpiece. However, everybody knows The Four Horseman is the best song, with Phantom Lord a close second. But I think Looking Down the Cross beats them both.
Fr???

The only other one that comes close, IMO, is Steve Harris. Very different music, though. I grew up listening to a lot of classical music, still do for that matter, and what Cliff was doing was like coming home.
Very cool

Just being facetious about Mustaine's influence on Kill ‘em All..LDTCross is off of Killing is my Business. Great song, but probably not better than 4 Horseman in the grand scheme. Both very creative & timeless songs, however - it’s crazy how young these guys were.

I know the song . I love it . I just don’t know if I agree . But both are great

Its hard for me to pick a favorite as they are all good tunes. I still remember hearing this album for the first time as a kid learning to play.

So what do we know about pickups, amps, speakers, studio effects, etc to get the tones on KEA?

Like I was saying the official side as of now if it’s a Superlead ( houseed as jmp look ) . Modded ( are we sure it was a jose amp ? ) . Then boosted with a Rat
That’s all I know.
