I really do like everything but the floyd...that part just isn't for me, the rest is great!

I used to really be a Floyd guy...but the Sil Specials I picked up with vintage trems feel and sound so good.
I thought tuning would be a problem because I'm really heavy with the bar live, but they actually stay in tune better than my Floyd guitars.

I think its just the way the fine tuners ride above the body of the trem? Seriously jacks my already haphazard picking

Jim has played my Sil, so he knows what they're about. Of course, I don't pay much attention to things like setup and....cleanliness....so, not the best example of the guitar, I guess...

Definitely a deal for what they go for used.

This local guy has been constantly relisting his Axis guitar for over a month.
He started at $1600 and keeps going a little bit down in price each time...notice the hairline cracks behind the nut.

Nice back atcha! That one in the middle is actually a purple sparkle Sil Spec SSS...great strat sounds, and got it less fer cheap too

Congrats on getting it cheap!
They are addictive for me...I have two and if I see another one for cheap I'm still tempted to grab another one.
