You could also buy BBE Sonic Stomp and try it with your amps. It makes your amp tighter, kinda like a Loudness switch.

2203 with a boost up front and a 10 band EQ in the loop. Every modded tone you want available. Only issue is older 2203's not having a loop.

Forget the Drageon, its not a good sounding amp, way to harsh and boring. The Cobra is indeed a great amplifier but its way too heavy in sound. Its a metal amp, not an organic JCM800 sound.
